We get it, parents!! Creative kids need to be stimulated or else there’s trouble. We were those kids and now we’re those adults, which is why we are offering an outlet for hands-on Making. All activities are gender neutral and the projects may be customized to the individual taste of each Artist.
OVERVIEW: * Ages 10 - 17 *
All materials, tools and supplies are included. Please allow 3.5 hours for this experience.
* Water, spa water or lemonade are provided but you’ll need to send snacks.
We will make a gender-neutral, copper cuff from refrigerator tubing. Students learn to flatten, anneal and shape their metal, plus, add depth through filing, texturing with hammers & flex-shaft burs or the roling mill.
They’ll also personalize their cuff through metal stamping before learning polishing techniques. (Shhhh. Throughout it all, our Campers will pick-up a few STEM lessons. Keep it a secret and save yourself the eyerolls)
**Parents, you may attend with your child, which requires the purchase of their seat and yours. We will not allow adults without a child in this class. **
* Parents sign a Liability Release while kids take a seat in the Studio
